Introducing Made By You range from Numero 74 – “because that is what we love and what we believe in… and also because we want to include as many handmade materials as possible in our DIY line!”

Made By You concept has evolved out of the love of all things handmade and the wish to share creativity. Kits are made from an array of materials including wool, cotton handspun in Burma, weaving looms made of wood coming from old Thai houses, embroidery fabric with patterns that are pre-printed using the ancient “silk-screen” process and metal hoops handmade by their artisan blacksmiths that could be used for pendant lighting or other things.

Brand story

Numero74 is the creation of two cousins hailing from France and Italy, and offers a poetic and bohemian-inspired range of home decor items. All pieces in the collection are handcrafted by women artisans from Thailand’s northern villages — a place founder, Tara, fell in love with while on holiday. She was inspired by the local women’s impressive tradition hand-craft skills and general know-how, and became determined to work with them.


Today, the women artisans are able to produce their goods from home, or in self-managed cooperatives in a serene atmosphere. Numero74 is proud to work in a way where actions come from the heart, not a list of specifications, where machines have not replaced the human touch, and where people take the time to look at each other, to share and to smile.

— Next day dispatch via Sendle.
— Same day dispatch is available for orders received before 10am AEST via an alternative carrier plus an express fee.
— Wherever possible, packages are dispatched via Sendle, a registered B Corp and Australia’s first carbon neutral delivery service. In some cases, including same day delivery, and some rural and regional areas, an alternative carrier will be used.
