Following the opening ‘The Slow’ — an island hotel in Canggu, Bali, where the ethos of slow, mindful living is central — fashion model Cisco Tschurtschenthaler has developed her own range of ceramics. Unique, delicate and earthy, each piece is handmade in either Bali or Cambodia on man-powered potter wheels in the spirit of Japan's "wabi sabi" methodology.

Intended to further enhance table ritual, Cisco & the Sun’s latest collection ‘Modern Essentials’ is realised from a place of modern necessity. Introducing the idea of warm minimalism, with soothing minimalist shapes that lends itself to comfort & simplicity. An extension of the Cisco & the Sun offering, Modern Essentials introduces new forms and objects that were missed in the previous collection. “We feel that in order to be truly sustainable brand we should be committed to only exploring purposeful design."
