— Lemon grass (Cymbopogon citratus) – Contains antioxidant, antibacterial and antiseptic properties, which help balance intestinal flora and assist in detoxification. Lemon grass is useful for digestive spasms, stomach ache and inflammation associated with achy joints.
— ​Ginger (Zingiber officinale) – Ginger has broad-spectrum anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-inflammatory properties. It helps ignite digestive fire and calm intestinal spasms. Ginger is also a famously potent circulatory stimulant, promoting blood flow, warmth and energy to the body. Ginger is also helpful to combat nausea and menstrual pain.
