— Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) – Works to soothe the digestive tract, mitigate sugar cravings and promote respiratory and gastrointestinal health.
— Peppermint (Mentha piperita) – Stimulates the production of bile in the liver, which may assist intestinal spasms, bloating, gas and feelings of nausea. Traditionally, peppermint was used to prevent gallstones and today peppermint is still known for its strong restorative properties on the liver and gallbladder.
— Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) – Fennel is well known for its ability to ease uncomfortable feelings of fullness and bloating. It soothes and supports digestion and contains alkalising properties that may combat symptoms of heartburn and indigestion.
